CRON issue was created by chrishall57
Hi, just installed CC Connect and Analytics but seem to have some issues.
No data seems to be shared across CC Connect and there's no data under the SEO tab for any website.
I'm also getting error messages for the CRONS, see image - Task Failed. Exit Code:5.
I assume this might be the issue so any idea on how to sort this?
Thanks

Hi Chris,
There are two separate things that need to be configured:
1. Analytics plugin
The Analytics plugin must be installed on every website where you want to use the Visitor Analytics feature.
Once it has been installed, go to:
Control Center → Manage Website → SEO → Visitor Analytics
and enable the option for that website.
After doing this, you should start seeing data similar to the example shown in the documentation:
ccdocs.securitycheckextensions.com/contr...ebsite/seo/analytics
2. CC Connect plugin
The CC Connect plugin must be installed on the website where your Control Center is installed.
I have also discovered a bug that prevents the data from being sent correctly. Please download and reinstall Control Center version 4.0.3, which fixes this issue.
Regarding the IP synchronization, any IP addresses added to any of the Control Center lists will be sent to the connected websites when the scheduled task SCP Control Center Connect Cron is executed.
Regards,
Jose

Hi Jose, it seems I'm still getting failures on the Analytics cron on all sites.
Email report goes like this:
"Planned execution of Scheduled Task#6, Analytics sync Cron, has failed with exit code 5 at Wednesday, 05 August 2026 22:10.
Please visit the Joomla! backend for more information."
Any ideas?

Hi Chris,
Did you enable it through the Control Center?
There should be a joomla_scheduler.php file in the administrator/logs folder of any of the sites where it is installed. Please attach that file so I can check what's happening.
Regards,
Jose
