Connection problems was created by SzymonG
Hello!
After updating to the newest version I am getting problems with connection to my sites via Control Center.
On majority of them I'm getting website response code "0".
2-3 of them try to connect but the process gets stuck at about 50%. After some time I get "Status: Error" and website response code "200" or that field is totally blank (without any status code).

On some sites there are no error logs regarding Securitycheck, on others the error log reads something like that:
[Tue Aug 11 11:56:52 2020] [error] [client 94.152.11.49] request="GET /index.php?option=com_securitycheckpro}} HTTP/1.1" pid=139629386799396 uid=3349035 gid=3349035, referer: /

The error log on the site using CC reads e.g.:
[Tue Aug 11 11:56:46 2020] [error] [client 83.28.238.217] request="POST

This happens on the sites hosted on 2 different servers. Third server responds OK.
Cron is enabled. Both Securitycheck and CC have been reainstalled recently. Secret keys have been double checked.
Could it be the server problem? Any tips where to look for the solution?

Thanks.
Simon

Hi Simon,

Do you have SCP 3.2 installed on all of your remote websites, don't you? Can you send me the log of any of those sites? Not the server log; you can find it next to every managed website.

Regards,
Jose

Hello Jose! Thanks for quick response. At this point I can see a certain pattern: on 10 sites the log says the same. Here is the example of one of them:INFO | 2020-08-12 10:02:10 |
BEGIN REFRESH INFO TASK
|DEBUG | 2020-08-12 10:02:10 | Site to return callbacks to: / |DEBUG | 2020-08-12 10:02:18 | Remote website uses SSL |DEBUG | 2020-08-12 10:02:18 | TARGET: |ERROR | 2020-08-12 10:02:18 | RESPONSE: Error 0 SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired |Strange, because the SSL for sure is valid.Logs for another 5 sites attached.Thanks -Simon

Hi Simon,

I'm contacting you privately, but it seems your certificate has a trusted chain containing an expired certificate. As I use strict validation to connect with remote sites, connection fails:

There are some steps to solve this:

Eventually, after receiving great help from Jose, I managed to sort out the problem.
As it turned out the problem was with the domain with Control Center. After installig it on another domain everything started working as expected.
Thanks again, Jose!

Simon
