Error connecting to the server: 403 was created by worksmart
Jose,
I am getting the following error when trying to update to the latest release: Error connecting to the server: 403. It is the only extension that I am having this issue with so not sure where to start looking. If you can give a bit of guidance that would be great.

Hi worksmart,
As this is a paid extension you have to set your download id into Global configuration -> download id tab. This should allow you to update it.
You can find your download id in my website, once logged in, into my account -> download id.

The download ID is there. I just did a refresh of it and it still gives the same error. The started happening about 2 releases ago.

Hi Mark
Are you sure the download id set matches with the one of my website? It changes if you change some settings as your password. Obviously I suppose your subscription is not expired.
If it's the same, can I get access to the site to do some tests? If so please send me administrative credentials to the email from which you receive forum notifications.

Solved. My .htaccess had an ip range covering your server's ip; that's why you got the 403 error. I have granted access to it and I was able to update both Securitycheck Pro and the Control Center.

We are getting the 403 error again, seems since your last update and cannot use the Joomla Extension Update to update Security Pro. Please take a look.
