Auto-Remove the Word: "Joomla" was created by herveD
HI Jose
Everything is fine for now! :-)

I see that it is integrated into another security extension the possibility of:
Auto-Remove the Word "Joomla" (HTML?):

If you choose this option, this feature will ensure that any auto-generated occurrence of the word “Joomla” on your website will be removed, to help make your site more anonymous to casual hackers and bots.

Is it possible ? extension ? or advice?

Hi HerveD!

HI Jose
Everything is fine for now!

Glad to hear that!

Auto-Remove the Word "Joomla" (HTML?)

IMO this is not a security feature as there are many other methods to detect if a site is running Joomla!. You can look for modules, templates, xml files, headers, folders... and you will know the site is running Joomla!

Jose

Hi
ok you don't
If the other extension does, you think it is not possible (I do not know it) because impossible to hide all the words "joomla" or extensions used. I was wondering anyway not to break the site, how would it do?
If it was really possible, it would be a security for me because it would make identification more difficult so hacks

Herved, there is no way to completely hide that a site is running Joomla. Don't waste more time thinking about it.

Jose
