Hello Jose, how are you? Here Carlos do Brasil. I have a problem that when I place a Google Adsense script in a custom module and when saving it says: Your IP was blocked by attempting brute force. But, I enter normally and I already tried to put the com_modules in the WAF, but it doesn't save. What can it be?
Im fine thanks. Hope you and your family are fine too.
When the firewall blocks a (hacking) attempt it shows the message "The webmaster has forbidden..." message. Did you modify It to show the "Your IP was blocked by attempting brute force" message? If not, could there be other security extension involved?
Anyway remember that every rule applied by Securitycheck Pro writes a log entry. Check if there is something there when this happens.
Also if this is something you're going to do only this time you can disable the firewall, publish the module and enable the firewall again. This way you will not add the entire module as exception to the xss filter.
