I am curious as I've seen this as being the step to take in other posts on this topic. My question is, if a file is marked as an exception will it be skipped i future scans?

If so, that's not a great idea as that exception file may become infected in the future.

Hi lcmba,

My question is, if a file is marked as an exception will it be skipped i future scans?

Yes, it will be excluded of future scans.

If so, that's not a great idea as that exception file may become infected in the future.

If a file is modified in a future the file integrity will warn you so you will know that something goes wrong.

Jose
