On one of my websites 297 files are showing File Integrity wrong: in each case hash values have changed. However there have been no installations or updates over the nine days since last check, and the malware scan reports no suspicious files. What else could cause so many hash values to change?

Hi margknox,

Usually only updates change the hash value of many files. Does those files belong to an extension or to multiple extensions?

Jose

They are all administrator components.

Maybe you updated the core and the file integrity was not launched till now. Anyway if there are no reports from the malware scan you can "mark all modified files as safe"; this will update all hashes.
