Misconfigured permissions was created by Resident
Hi, I had lot of misconfigured permissions. I deleted these files, tried to start analysis again and still see 1400 misconfigured files as a result, but don´t see any WRONG files on the website. Is there any cache or anything like that?

Hi Resident,

Try changing the dropdown to "folders" instead if "files". And remember there is a button to fix permissions, you don't hace to delete the files/folder reported!

Jose

Great - I changed to "folder", checked only one folder and all files and folders under this one "folder" are repaired correctly. Great function :-)
Thank you!

On one of my websites I have another problem, now it seems that Security Check Pro is affected. And everytime I do a scan, files are increasing....

It seems that folder is configured to set a 664 permissions on every new folder. You can check the folder using a ftp account and configure it to set a value of 644 for new files (if you don't know how to do it just ask to your hosting provider).

Anyway a 664 value is not so bad, so you can also exclude the 'scan' folder of Securitycheck Pro to avoid being notified of every new file (everytime you launch a new scan a file like those reported is created).

Regards,
Jose
