Help please - unused The server encountered an internal error

Any time I save the WAF I get this-
<--error given—>
unused

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Hi haferc,

The 'suspicious word list' is encoded to avoid some mod_security rules, so there is nothing wrong with it. Your error usually appears when there is a mistake into the .htacess...

Can you ask to your hosting provider or send me the Apache error.log to check what's happening?

I swapped my .htaccess file. I changed the setting in file injection attacks to no. That corrected it. I am having weird issues with the custom redirect message given. It seems to only like Joomla. When I set a custom message, when saving, it seems to error out. Do I need to make a .html and link the directory location? Thank you

Other customer report the same error and I can confirm it's a mod_security rule. Please, read this forum entry where I post the solution to solve this.
