This is the production environment that I didn't update yet. (I still have error see attachment).
But I noticed that securitycheck didn't find my subscription status. (in attachment)

Did you set the Download id now? If so it will not be checked until the next login.

I have been doing some further investigation and this error could be caused by some hosting firewall rules; is this site stored in the same server that the first one with issues?

Yes it is hosted in the same place. But I have other sites here and no trouble at all. The firewall in off and the Download ID was setted weeks ago.

There must be something different because you always must be able to update the extension manually. This process doesn't involve my server at all, so even if for some reason you can't connect to my site to should be able to update my extension with the "Upload&install" mechanism...

Obviously there could be some issues, as a low value in the php directive "upload_max_filesize", but Joomla should give you a message with a clue of what's happening. Please, try setting the "Error reporting" to "Development" into Global Configuration -> server tab and tell me if you get more info after uploading and installing 3.1.7 version.

FYI I have just tried updating 3.1.5 version with your Download id on my isolated environment and everything went fine.

Thanks Jose, and sorry for the delay, I'm very busy.
In attachment you can find the result of the manual upgrade. As you can see it say only "error" nothing more.




And the version of securitycheck Pro remain 3.1.5
