error 500 after update PHP 5.6 to 7.1 was created by PaulvandenBergh39
Hi,

My provider updated the PHP version from 5.6.4 to 7.1
Thereafter my Joomla 3.9.2 website was unaccesable (error 500).
Downgrading again by the provider to PHP 5.6.4 solved the problem.

From the server errorlog:

Fri Jan 18 16:36:33.727333 2019]
[proxy_fcgi:error]
[pid 3078:tid 139801007785728]
[client AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: jinput in /administrator/components/com_securitycheckpro/models/securitycheckpros.php on line 505\n',

Any clue how to solve this ?

Thx Paul

Hi Paul,

This issue will be fixed in the upcoming release I will publish next week.
Meanwhile, to solve it just edit the file /administrator/components/com_securitycheckpro/models/securitycheckpros.php and change the line 505 from
$jinput->set('core_actualizado', $mensaje_actualizados);
to
$jinput = JFactory::getApplication()->set('core_actualizado', $mensaje_actualizados);

Jose

Hi again Paul,

Reviewing your post I see this is only a PHP notice, that can't cause the error 500, so you will have to look for "fatal errors" in apache log. The extension is fully tested until PHP 7.3.

Jose
