I nearly tried for hours all your hints in this forum:

- included in PHPMyAdmin my IP to the whitelist
- disabled in PHPMyAdmin all securitycheckpro entries for extension/plugin etc. to "0" (not enabled)
- created new Super User with new password
- renamed via FTP the plugins > system > securitycheckpro & securitycheckpro_cron folders (than white screen of death appears)
...

The effect: Always the same: Can't login into the backend "User does not exist or password failed"

May you help. I'll send logins to Website / CPanel / FTP to you. Would be great if you can assist.
Thank you.
Cheers, Uli.

Hi Uli,

That message belongs to Joomla and means exactly that: the user or the password are wrong. Securitycheck Pro don't cause it.

As you have access to phpmyadmin you can search for the user in the 'users' table. There you can also set an encoded password to grant you access: www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joom...et-joomla-passwords/

Regards,
Jose
