Hello,
I've noticed that my site becomes unresponsive and returns a timeout error whenever the malware scanner is running it's process. The site will be unreachable for around 5 to 15 minutes while the scan is being performed, and then by the time the email reports have been received into my inbox, I am able to access my site again.
Is there a way to disable the malware scanner so that it will not run automatically?

Hi David,
The malware scanner only runs automatically over modified files detected by a file integrity scan. I think that scan, and not the malware scanner, could be causing the slowness as there were a bug with the exceptions system in this version. I fixed it and uploaded the change so please download and install the current version again.
If do you want to disable automatic scans just disable the cron from main panel of Securitycheck Pro.
