Firewall issues was created by TimonJML1
Hello, when I give access to a third party to look at our Joomla site, they cannot get access anymore. They get a 403 error.
We checked with our hosting company and they say that this is a software issue.

The same with RSfiles. We have a file area where people with a link can download files. When I update Securitycheck Pro, the firewall is turned on and then people do not have access. So to solve this problem, I turn off the firewall. I can whitelist them, but I just want to grand everyone access to download a file.

Hi TimonJML1,

Having the firewall disabled is not the solution. There should be a rule applied causing the issue; please, send me administrtive credentials to access to the backend (use the email from which you receive forum notifications) and check what's happening.

Regards,
Jose

Please read my question, the first two lines:

" Hello, when I give access to a third party to look at our Joomla site, they cannot get access anymore. They get a 403 error.
We checked with our hosting company and they say that this is a software issue."

I thought you were able to disable the firewall in that case. Can you send me creedntials to access to cpanel then? I will disable the firewall and do the tests.

Regards,
Jose
