We have updated Securitycheck and Securitycheck Pro to 2.8.12 version to fix some bugs and add some improvements:
+ Database update until Jun 27 2016 (10 new vulnerabilities added) (both versions).
+ Improvements in File Integrity (only Pro version).
Added some code to avoid store empty info about a file.
+ Visual improvements in exceptions (thanks for your suggestion Glen!) (only Pro version).
Now textareas to add exceptions are wider.
+ Improvements in htaccess protection (thanks for your suggestion Glen!) (only Pro version).
Now we can indicate that we use other methods to protect our backend (for example, a password).
+ Improvements in usability (thanks for your suggestions Joseba!) (only Pro version).
Now we can go to each submenu quickly from Joomla Components Menu.
+ Improvements in Export/Import config (only Pro version).
Now Global configuration configuration is also exported, so we can import it.
+ Fixed minor bug checking vulnerabilities (thanks for report this, Mike!) (only Pro version).
This is a rare bug which arise when, for some reason, the extension is not able to determine to which Joomla versions affect a vulnerability.
+ New feature: forbid new admin accounts (only Pro version).
Now we can forbid creation of new accounts with administration privileges. This kind of accounts will be automatically deleted if this feature is enabled.
+ Fixed bug in the .htaccess protection (thanks for report this, Paul!) (only Pro version).
If there was an .htaccess file it was deleted before applying the protection.
