link joomla websites via cli

Hello,

we are on the brink to link a lot of sites to the control center. I read in the manual about the possibility to add them via ui.
I was wondering if it is possible to add websites via api or Joomla cli. This would help in automation.

This is actually something that has been on my to-do list for quite a long time, but unfortunately I’ve never had the time to implement it.

I completely agree that being able to add websites via an API or the Joomla CLI would be very useful for automation.

I also need to give some thought to how to implement this in a secure way, especially when it comes to authentication and authorizing new sites.

I promise I’ll look into it and see how we can introduce this functionality in one of the upcoming versions.
