Hey Jose,
As it turns out, I already had the system set to not scan the /public_html/administrator/cache/ folder and any sub-directories, but it still shows them as exceptions when I list exceptions.
Maybe that's not working as intended?
Cheers,
Louis

Hi Louis,

If the "add exceptions to database" is set to Yes, exceptions will be listed there. When it's set to No nothing will be stored.

Anyway I have been working to solve a bug in scans that causes to analyze files added as exceptions. It will be added to next version but I have already added it to 3.4.3, so I think you should download and install this version again.

Regards,
Jose

Hi Jose,
I downloaded and installed 3.4.3, and it took 3 tries before it completed a scan for integrity, finding only 1 file changed, which was filemanager.php.

I ran the file manager check, and it came up good, but nothing seems to be different when I ask it for the exceptions; I still have 18 pages of 50 per page or so.

Thanks!
Louis

Hi Louis,

And all those pages report files into folders that have been added as exceptions or are there files that should not be there?

Regards,
Jose

Hi Jose,
I didn't check every file, as there are so many, and that's when I get kicked out, but from what I've seen, they are all in the root of administrator/cache, or various sub-directories of that /cache folder.

Cheers,
Louis

Hi Louis,

There could be potentially hundred of files into that folders, so everything is fine. Securitycheck Pro exclude by default files stored into cache and tmp folders.

Jose
