Duplicate parameters in htaccess when clicking Protect was created by azurelinksc
Each time I click the Protect button, SCP adds duplicate parameters to my htaccess file. Should I delete the current htaccess before updating with "Protect". (By delete, I mean revert to the default htaccess which came with Joomla.)

Hi azurelink,
Yes, you should delete the file before applying the changes (there is a button to do that next to the 'protect' button). When you apply the protection I use the default Joomla .htaccess to generate the new file, so you don't have to manually revert it).
I will check the video because, in theory, if protection is applied or shouldn't add the rules again.
Regards,
Jose
