Hola Jose,

Hope you are well.

I have a Joomla 4.1 site running the latest version of Securitycheck Pro (3.4.4). The site uses a Helix Framework template and SP Pagebuilder 3.85.

SP Page Builder has a Frontend Editor feature which allows admins to login to the frontend and edit content pages directly. To do so, in SP Page Builder you would click on "Pages" and see a list of the pages created in SP Pagebuilder. Next to each page title is a "Frontend Editor" button. Clicking it normally opens a login page in the public site.

PROBLEM:
After enabling Securitycheck Pro, when clicking the Frontend Editor button, we now go to a 404 error page with a URL structure like this:

mysite.com/about/edit/3

Which redirects to the following:

mysite.com/component/users/login?return=...vZWRpdC8z&Itemid=101

What settings do I need to create/modify in Securitycheck Pro to allow this feature to work? Interestingly, this does not trigger a firewall entry.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regards!

Hi azurelink,

Try the following: go to global configuration -> tuning tab and set the 'Determine option accurately' to 'No'.

Jose

Yay! That worked Jose! Thanks!
Does that mean that anything is less secure?

You're welcome! :)

No, all rules are applied but the method to determine the extension involved changes.

Jose

Hi Jose,
I don't see this setting in version 3.5. Is there something similar?
Thanks,
Louis

Hi Louis,

That option is no longer available as I completely rewrite a part of the code that was causing this. If do you disable Securitycheck Pro do you still have the issue?

Jose
