this seams to be a recurring theme after upgrading Securitycheck Pro. Along with upgrading Joomla. I have resorted to restoring back-ups to get my sites back up and running.

Why is this happening?

My current site down is running PHP 5.6.40 and crashed after updating Securitycheck Pro

Hi rpeckens,

The extension has been tested on latest versions of PHP 7 and 8 and I'm almost sure there are some functions not compatible with 5.6 version.

Which version of Joomla and Securitycheck Pro do you have?

Jose

Hi rpeckens,

I have just tested this and with latest version (or at least with Joomla 3.9 branch) everything works fine:

You get the fatal error with older Joomla versions as I use new Joomla namespaces in my extensions that is not present in those versions.

Jose

The site that is down is running Joomla! 3.10.1, Securitycheck Pro 3.2.2 or 3.4.2. I cannot tell as it is down.
PHP 5.6.40

Umm, that's odd. With those versions it should work.

Can you send me cpanel (or FTP and phpmyadmin) credentials to check what's happening? If so please use the email from which you receive forum notifications.

Jose
