I have just tested it and it works fine. Try setting the "Error reporting" to "Development" in System -> Global Configuration -> Server tab to see if we get more info.

I think it's solved. For some reason the Joomla core JFile::write function gives a fatal error in your environment (php 7.4.3) when we pass it a string as an argument. This doesn't happen in my environment, so maybe php is configured with other settings.
